Description

Intercept Sex Trafficking at the Source

Along with partners at OLIVE, Fresno Church, and World Impact, the Justice Coalition has been actively working to launch an EPIK team here in Fresno and Madera. We are pleased to say that we are now underway with the goal of training this summer and launching in September.

For years we have had men ask how they can be involved. We have had a variety of opportunities, but for those who want to be involved in direct impact, there has often not been a place for them. We know there are men in our community who want to take an active role.

This team would be comprised of 20 men who commit to once-a-month cyber patrols for one year, in addition to the initial training hours. There is no direct contact with victims of trafficking, only with buyers.  The goal is to help those who seek to purchase sex learn the truth about what happens on the other side of that ad before they actually engage in the exploitation of another person.

If you have individuals or groups who you think would be interested in becoming part of our team, we hope you will share the information. People can reach out directly to christa@justiceco.org or hunter@fresnochurch.org for more information.
