Mayor Dyer’s Beautify Fresno initiative is hosting a cleanup event in the area of Herndon Avenue and State Route 99 on Saturday, June 25, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. This event will focus on cleaning the area north of Herndon Avenue, from State Route 99 to Weber Avenue.
Volunteers are asked to meet in the Hampton Inn & Suites parking lot beginning at 7:45 a.m., to check in and for a brief orientation.
All volunteers are required to sign a Liability Waiver form prior to participating in this event. To speed up the check-in process, we encourage you to sign the release waiver electronically prior to the event by visiting https://appdev.fresno.gov/beautify/. All participants under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian sign for them.
Beautify Fresno will provide safety vests, paper pickers, gloves, and trash bags, along with pre-packaged snacks and bottled water.
In an effort to keep you safe during this pandemic, Beautify Fresno will follow guidance from our national advisors at Keep America Beautiful, as well as all health and safety protocols from the CDC and the Fresno County Department of Public Health.
