Would you join volunteers from local churches who spend time engaging with students by sharing lunch, having discussions, making crafts, and playing games or recess sports during lunchtime (12pm to 1pm) at an elementary school campus? Lunchtime Mentoring is a weekly program where a team of mentors build trusting relationships with a group of students who need caring adults to serve as role models in their lives. Our goal is for these relationships to transition into discipleship as we get to know our students and their family members and create opportunities to share why our faith is the reason for our service. As a volunteer, you can choose the day of the week that works best for you with an option to serve weekly, biweekly, monthly or whenever you are available.
Lunchtime Mentoring Guest Speaker
Would you donate 15 to 30 minutes out of your busy schedule to give an encouraging message, share your inspiring story, or present on your career (nurse, doctor, attorney, engineer etc...)? You can serve by speaking to a group of 15 elementary school students and mentors from local churches during our lunch time (12pm-1pm) mentoring session that takes place on elementary school campus . Your contribution will give these youngsters a chance to dream bigger, work harder and believe in themselves. Your words of hope can inspire and empower students to become all that God created them to be: Responsible citizens and productive members of our society.
