All 15 Boys & Girls Clubs throughout Fresno County always have a need for caring community minded people to share their talents, skills and positive outlook on life with the youth we serve. Volunteers dedicate their time and talents in the following Club areas:
Power Hour - Homework assistance and tutoring provided after school for one hour.
Sports Leagues & Outdoor Play Activities - Coaching, sport clinics, referees, and scorekeepers.
Computer Labs - Digital Safety, explore robotics, STEM activities, and mentorship for safety technology use.
Art Programs - Creative ideas, project implementation, special guest presentations, and holiday art activities.
Mentoring - Game room activities in groups, supervision, innovative team engagement activities.
Cooking - Preparation, Serving daily meal, recipes, and demonstrations.
Outdoor & Environmental Education - Nature walks, hikes, snow visits, camp counselors.
Special Events - Set up, tear down, serving meals, registration, technology support, supervision, activities with guests.
Individuals interested in becoming a volunteer at one of our Clubs are required to go through a background check and screening process (18+). This process will give you an idea of how the Clubs function and the volunteer availability. It also gives us an opportunity to learn about you and what compelled you to volunteer for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Fresno County.
